What is a noun?
A noun names a person, place, thing, or feeling.
A verb tells what a person or thing is doing.
What is a sentence?
A string of words that form meaning. A simple sentence must contain a noun and a verb.

WRITING
Writing is a widely-used and an important form of communication. On a daily basis, we write to communicate with ourselves and with others. This week we are building our skill in writing essays. Our goal is to decode writing prompts and using graphic organizers.
